I remember watching Blood + on Cartoon Network and I really couldn't get into it. I don't know why it has been a while. I remember also watching Berserk and I hated the artwork and story; couldn't get past three episodes. yesterday I started watching Claymore and it got me hooked enough to watch for a couple more days. Why? Because it is like Bezerk and Blood +.
Mild Spoiler Alert
Claymore is set in the past where people sling swords and demons roam the Earth. The Claymores are a type of people that are half human and half Yuma (Demon). In the first few episodes we watch a Clare as she slashes and slays Yuma. The story progresses with Clare getting close to a human called Raki and Clare slashes more demons. Although, this anime is slow paced, Ill keep watching it. It is pretty interesting. And it also has a lot of blood.

ReplyDeleteI stalled on that show after a couple episodes back when it first came out as a fansub. Not sure why, though. Just didn't get that into it.

ReplyDeleteClaymore was pretty good, but nothing compared to a classic like Berserk, it made me want to carry around a huge sword.
